Terms of Service

Simple Walker · Effective 20 July 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SlackWater.ai covering your use of the Simple Walker app. By accepting them in the app, you agree to them.

Walk safely

Simple Walker gives directions. It does not watch the road for you. You are responsible for your own safety and for paying attention to your surroundings — traffic, crossings, kerbs, other people, and anything else in your path. Obey all traffic laws and signals. Do not rely on the app alone, and do not follow an instruction that would put you in danger.

Routes are generated from third-party map data that can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. A route may be impassable, closed, unsafe, or unsuitable for you. Simple Walker is not an emergency service and must not be relied on in an emergency.

The service

Simple Walker provides spoken and vibrating walking directions to a destination you choose. It requires location permission to work, and an internet connection to search for places and calculate routes.

Subscription and billing

Confirming your contact

When you subscribe we ask you to confirm an email address or phone number so we know the subscription belongs to a real person and can reach you about the service. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete it from inside the app at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Availability

We try to keep Simple Walker working, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. It depends on services we do not control, including map data providers, mobile networks, and satellite positioning. We may change or discontinue features.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlackWater.ai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending this agreement

You may stop using Simple Walker at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue using it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
